At the beginning positions sit straight and straighten your leg horizontal to the ground. Join your feet. Place your palms on ground aside to waist. The steps to be followed are: Initially fold your right leg and place your right foot nearer to left knee. The second step is to turn your body right, bring your left hand outer of right knee and touch your right leg toes by your left hand. Place your right palms on the ground behind your back. Your eye sight should be on right side. Now, free your left hand and place it on the ground. The final step is straightening your right leg and come to beginning position. The caution to be noted is the person with intestine problem and hernia disease should not do this asana.

The benefits of the Thirikonasam are, the person with respiratory and kidney problems gets cured. It removes kidney stone and improves hungry and it also removes pain from back, neck, forearm, waist and knees. At the beginning position one has to stand straight and your feet should be in ā€˜v’ shape. Relax yourself and broaden your chest. Neck should be in straight position. Place your palms nearer to your thigh. The steps to be followed are: initially leave 1m space between your feet; raise your hands straight to the shoulder and then inhale the air. The second step is to exhale the air and to bend towards right side until your right hand touches your right leg. Raise your left hand upwards such that right and left hand should be in straight position. Left palm should face frontwards and your sight should be on left palm. Then Inhale the air and bring hands straight to shoulder. Do not shake your legs. And finally exhale the air and bring right leg nearer to left leg. Put your hands down. Repeat the same procedure on the other side. The caution for this asana is the person who is suffering from back and knee pain should do this asana carefully.

The benefits of the Bhujanghasanam are the problems such as back pain, neck pain, neck sprain, asthma, indigestion problem will get cured. The practicing of this asana also improves the function of intestine. The beginning position of this asana is to lie on the ground and move your hands front to head. Your chin should touch the ground, join your legs and your feet should face upwards. Straighten your body from head to foot. The steps to be followed are: Initially, fold your elbows and place your palms nearer to your chest. Secondly, slowly raise your head and then raise your chest. Balance your body weight on your waist. Now, down your head and chest and touch ground and free your hands and come to beginning position. The caution to be noted is, the person with high BP should not do this asana.
